You ever wonder why people never make stuff for it, and as well always comes out as mediocore forgettable stuff?

It's literally because his concept is bland and somehow keeps falling back to the moronic magic bag stuff that's just literally a Tom and Jerry slapstick cartoon with barely any sauce to it. They only use it because it's just a boring plot device that makes the cartoon stand out in a miserable way, and that Felix has something to do with while outwitting his foes.

Just because something is the first of everything, doesn't mean it's good enough to be remembered or brought back. All of his later "evolutions" were just literally apings of something already more successful, and now people are trying to re-imagine Felix as some cool Sonic ripoff from the 90's console wars.

Felix himself is awesome. He had more character and sarcastic wit then any single Sonic character and is a very strong personality that can carry media
His series problem is twofold. One is that the 50s series is sh*t and anything derived from it is sh*t, but that’s become his core. He’s great in the originals, Twisted Tales and the new comic but if it’s derived from 50s sh*t and has Don on it it’s not good
The other is that his supporting cast is sh*t. Sonic has great supporting cast to prop up his weaknesses, so does Mickey. Felix is forced to carry the series himself because he has no one around him to bounce off of or be engaging. Of the 50s sh*t only Rock Bottom is salvageable and I’ve only seen him done decently in the new comic. You’d have to go the 90s with characters like Sheba to find supporting cast actually are solid and compatible with Felix, and then they never showed up in anything since
You think it’s lame because your only point of reference is the 50s show and canon, which is lame. But Felix overall isn’t
