As a growing credit union, it can sometimes be a challenge to maintain the "local" feel that members love about a credit union.Putting community first, we have found success with our branch drives, empowering individual branches to support local nonprofits of their choosing to host a month long collection drive for.https://lnkd.in/e-6pTT7Z

🏘️ The Service CU Impact Foundation's Spring Gala raised money to support affordable housing opportunities across New Hampshire, helping to provide a roof overhead for individuals like Julie, who otherwise could have been faced with homelessness.

🤝 Throughout May, our Gorham branch will be hosting a collection drive for the Gorham Community Learning Center. We are looking for items such as arts and crafts supplies, tissues, snack bags, hand soap, chalk, bubbles, and hula hoops!

❤️ This month, our Plymouth branch will be hosting a collection drive for Whole Village Family Resource Center, an organization that connects the community with the support and resources they need to raise a child. 🏖️ We are looking for items such as lunch boxes, beach towels, water bottles, and sunscreen.

🏒 When Boston's star defender Charlie McAvoy isn't on the ice winning games in the playoffs, he's out in the community supporting local first responders.🚓 🚒 Throughout this season, we teamed up with McAvoy to raise over $150,000 and counting to provide crucial heart and cancer screenings -- often not covered by insurance -- for our heroes.

🐶 Our Laconia branch successfully ran a branch drive for Darbster Doggy last month, collecting over 100 items for a great organization that shelters and cares for dogs in need!

🐴 The Service CU Impact Foundation works around the clock to raise money for great organizations such as Ironstone Farm, who provide veterans, first responders, and more with hope and healing through equine-assisted therapeutic programs.
