  • 1/2 cup Margarine

  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 21 oz Cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup Milk chocolate chips or white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup Butter

instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. With a table top or hand mixer, whip butters together in a large bowl on medium high speed until fluffy, roughly 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add vanilla to butter, then beat for 30 seconds.
  4. Sift together flour and sugar, then add to the bowl with the butter. Beat on medium until dough beings to clump, then use your hands to finish mixing until a soft, smooth dough is formed.
  5. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, then place on parchment covered baking sheet 2 inches apart.
  6. Using your thumb or the bottom of a tablespoon measuring spoon, gently press in the center of each cookie so it forms a well. Scoop 2-4 cherries on to each cookie.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to an wire rack. Allow to cool completely.
  8. Heat chocolate chips per package instructions, then drizzle across cookies. (Tip: you can pour melted chocolate into a zip lock bag and cut a small hole in a corner to create your own icing bag).
  9. Let chocolate cool completely before serving or storing cookies in an air tight container.

  • 21 oz Cherry pie filling
  • 2 can Cresent roll dough
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Spray muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • Unroll and separate dough.
  • Place one triangle into each cup and fill with a tablespoon of pie filling.
  • Fold 2 shorter ends together on the top and pull longer end over those.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Set aside to cool.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  • Transfer cooled bites to wore rack and drizzle with glaze mixture.

Easy Cherry Turnovers

20 mins to make, makes 16 crescent rolls

  • 1 cups Cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup Confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract

Bread & Baked Goods

  • 2 cans Crescent rolls, store-bought

  • 2 tbsp Heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to temperature specified on crescent roll package. (Ours was 375 degrees F).
  2. Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat mat.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
  4. Place a heaping tablespoon or so of cherry pie filling at the wide end of each crescent roll, and gently roll it up.
  5. Place on baking sheet, and bake according to package directions, 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. While baking, prepare the glaze.
  7. Combine confectioners sugar, cream and vanilla in a small bowl and whisk until smooth.
  8. The glaze should be thin enough to coat and run off a spoon, so add more sugar or liquid as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  9. Generously pour glaze over hot rolls, and enjoy warm.

Mini Cherry Cheese Danishes

  • 1 can Cherry pie filling
  • 1 Flour
  • 1/3 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 splash Vanilla

Bread & Baked Goods

  • 1 Roll pillsbury crescent rolls

Dairy

  • 4 oz Cream cheese, soft
  • 2 tsp Milk

Instructions

  1. Open container of rolls and do no unroll them. Use a sharp, serrated knife to cut through them like slice/bake cookies. Make 10 slices.
  2. Lay each slice on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
  3. Use a measuring cup to flatten each roll out and build a small wall around the edge.
  4. Use a drop of flour to prevent sticking and press with your fingertips, too.

Filling

  1. Electric mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Dollop a small amount into each "danish."
  3. Add a teaspoonful of cherries.
  4. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes.
  5. Let cool and add a drizzle of glaze.

Glaze

  1. Combine milk and sugar and drizzle on danishes. Can use a pastry bag, if desired.

Cherry Pie Cookie Cups

  • 1 (16.5 oz.) roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1 (21 oz.) can Cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar

Dairy

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Divide cookie dough in half; cut each half into 12 slices.
  2. Generously spray 24 mini muffin cups with cooking spray OR line with mini cupcake liners.
  3. Roll each slice into a ball, then place each ball into a mini muffin cup.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven; press down the center of each cookie cup gently to make a small indentation.
  6. Fill each with 1 Tbsp. cherry pie filling.
  7. Return to oven and bake an additional 3-5 minutes.
  8. Cool slightly; remove from pans.
  9. Drizzle with a mixture of powdered sugar, melted butter and milk.
  10. Store in refrigerator.

  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup White chocolate baking chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer beat together butter, and margarine until fluffy. Add flour powdered sugar, and vanilla just until combined and a soft dough is formed.
  2. Roll the dough into tablespoon sized balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. about 2 inches apart. Make an indentation in the center of each ball. Scoop 1-2 cherries into each center indentation in the cookie.
  3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Allow cookies to cool. Melt the ½ cup white chocolate in the microwave stirring 30 seconds at a time in a microwave safe dish until smooth and be careful not to let it burn.
  4. Once chocolate is melted scoop into a ziplock blog. Snip the corner with scissors and drizzle the chocolate over each cookie.

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar

  • 1 (3 ounce) package Cream cheese

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, cream butter, cream cheese, egg yolk, vanilla, lemon zest and salt until fluffy. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, then the flour to make stiff dough. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place in the fridge to chill for about 2 hours.
  2. Remove from fridge and preheat oven to 325 degrees. Shape dough into small one inch balls.
  3. Beat egg white until foamy. Dip balls in egg white then roll in graham cracker crumbs. Arrange cookie dough balls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet and make a depression in the middle of each cookie with your thumb.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until cookies begin to brown on the bottoms. Remove cookies from baking sheet and let cool. Fill depression with a teaspoon of pie filling (or as much as you can fit on each cookie).

  • Allow crusts to warm slightly to make them easier to work with.

  • Cut other crust into 1/2" strips or stars.
