25+ Vegan Recipes for Kids | Easy Kid-Friendly Vegan Meals (1)

When discussing the eating habits of our shorter and cuter counterparts, we often use the terms “kid food,” or “kid-friendly.”

Most kids, picky or not, crave the same thing: super yummy food. And kid friendly vegan meals can be just that!

What is kid food?

Kid food is really just be adult food in smaller portions. We've been made to believe kids need bland flavors and repetitive textures, but the opposite is true. The more variety they get from babyhood, the better.

But research suggests that exposing babies and toddlers to lots of colors, flavors, and textures helps reduce pickiness later on. It may take ten times of introducing a food to get your kiddo excited about Brussels sprouts, but keep at it!

Kiddos can really eat anything adults can eat, from spicy food, curry, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes and beyond. As long as the texture and size is age appropriate, you're in the clear to go wild.

Vegan recipes for toddlers or kids don't have to be loaded with sugar or salt to be tasty! Healthy living that starts at a young age, and the food that they consume will set them up for top-notch growing.

Now there's no need to turn your kiddos into people who say no to pumpkin brownies. Balance is key!

P.S. These bento boxes are the bomb for packing lunches.

Nutella is a chocolate and hazelnut spread. The manufacturing process for this food item is very similar to a generic production of chocolate spread. Nutella is made from sugar, modified palm oil, hazelnuts, cocoa powder, skimmed milk powder, whey powder, soy lecithin, and vanillin. I figured this would help the Nutella debate.

I appreciate the list and almost everything looks awesome! That is except the NON vegan banana Nutella sandwich :/ It calls for 4tbsp Nutella and that’s just not vegan. Everything else I’m excited to try!!

These are all tasty sounding recipes, but it is my understanding that Nutella is not dairy free. I would not be able to serve them to my vegan niece.

I have been eating vegan in large part for some time, but now I hope to go all in, and take my family along for the ride. I love this list and plan on trying the crispy tofu "fingers" tonight. However, I noticed a grilled nutella sandwich on the list and I thought I should point out that Nutella (the brand) is NOT vegan. There may be chocolate hazelnut spread brands that are (believe me, my kids already asked!), but Nutella is not one of them.
